Our head coach/owner is Shanon Leggo.
Shanon is certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) with over 15 years of experience coaching skaters of all ages and levels:
Shanon has extensive experience working with different ice sport organizations in the area. She has worked with the Spruce Grove Ringette Association, Stony Plain Minor Hockey, Spruce Grove Minor Hockey, Hockey Super League, and Tri Area Skating Club.
As a former figure skater who competed at the provincial and national level, Shanon knows what it takes to excel on the ice. She became a power skating coach after witnessing how much power skating could enhance the skills and confidence of hockey and ringette players, especially through her own children.
She has trained skaters at different levels, from beginners to junior players and even adults, in how to skate powerfully and tactically. She has also served as a head coach for ringette teams and an assistant coach for hockey teams.
